Night Chapter Four

Starter: 

On a sticky note, write a comparison between Maus and Night.
On a separate sticky note, write a contrast of Maus and Night based on the reading yesterday.

Activity: 

1.  Chalk Talk

In your groups from yesterday, you will be assigned one of the big ideas.
Read through all of the quotes that the class identified, and select one that you think best represents the big idea so far. 
Write that quote on a sheet of paper and post it somewhere in the room.

Individually, rotate to each poster reacting to the quote. 
Make sure that you are demonstrating critical thinking.

Finally, return to your poster and reflect on the reactions.
You will summarize the reactions with your group members and share why you chose that quote to the class.
